Kids are settling into their classes and busy learning new skills and older kids are reviewing what they knew before summer.
The teachers were so happy to see you at back-to-school night. They want to work with you throughout the year and help your children master all the skills taught in school. Please make sure your child turns in their homework on time. This is a habit that will help them through elementary school and further.
Please make sure your child’s belongings have his/her name on them as many of them have similar things.
Halloween parade and party on 31st. Your children can dress up and come to school in the morning. Please send the uniform in the bag to change after 9:45 am. Kindly send a bag of wrapped candy, (no nuts please), pretzels, and chips for their goody bags. No scary costumes or masks, please.
Please keep in mind if you are giving away old costumes we would love to have them for dress-up play which the kids adore. Please ask your family and friends if they can donate the costumes to us.
I hope you are spending time reading books to your kids. This increases their attention span, and they will develop a love for reading!
Oct. 11 is a holiday observing Columbus Day.
